♥ on thursday, it was jarrad's and my two year anniversary. quite a while. we went to the swan valley and to sitella winery for lunch, where i ate far too much and drank a bit too much also but it was lovely, long and delicious. it was also nice to escape from the city for a bit. just the action of driving for an hour and ending up somewhere quite remote for a couple of hours was fantastic. a good breather!
♥ i got me an imogen heap cd. she's lovely.
♥ my big success last week was defeating my travel agent. on tuesday she said, "your flights will cost $3500, and your insurance will cost $650 each!" jarrad and i were pretty crushed, because we only have $2700 for flights and $600 for insurance. but by thursday morning, i (with the powers of the internet on my trusty belt) had found us insurance for $650 ... for both of us, from allianz. after reading an article about a guy who went round the world on low cost carriers, i decided i could get us around the world for cheap. low and behold, after a bit of searching, i can get us from perth to hawaii to san francisco, then new york to glasgow, then london to cairo to home for... $2700. i was a genius. we will probably leave on november 17th and return february 2nd.
♥ i taught a 1920s charleston class on wednesday which was fun. also, we had a swing it! meeting last night which sapped out all my passion for dancing but meh.
♥ i was quite excited to get my hour back this morning, considering they took it at such an inconvenient time, i rejoiced in getting it back and using it for... SLEEP!
♥ life/work/uni has been pretty full on lately, but i am looking forward to making some more time for seeing all you guys! fun, anyone?
♥ our french exchange student arrives on saturday for two weeks. woah! then a week later we get some dancers for HULLABALOO! yeah yeah!
♥ in twenty minutes i am going to watch jarrad's band play at shelley with my parentals. should be fun.

I am not being very productive. This is because I am avoiding going to the Murdoch Uni Library. Why? I don't know where it is! What if those Murdoch Uni kids eat me? Wahhh! But I want me some books on Freud. Poopy.
In the meantime, I have paid for Hullabaloo, changed some bank stuff, filled out a booking form and had a shower to make me clean. Clean is good.
We are going to Russia! We found flights in and out for $530. This is cheap, yo! Russia is not a cheap place to go. Dudes.
I want the next Heroes! I will die without it!
Also, woah!
Today is Jarrad & I's one year anniversary. I am getting old. It is actually pretty nice & squishy & happy! I like him loads!
I will now go and moisturise my hands or some crap. Lame.

a word to the wise...
do not attempt creativity late at night. after your eyes start going fuzzy you will be unable to tie the simplest of knots (let alone bows) with your big fatty fingers. also, you will inevitably run out of ribbon. and glue.
